Aikmans 2nd haircut here. The first one went pretty well although they only cut off a tiny bit. Since he had to return so quickly to get his hair cut again, he decided to take a picture of himself from several months before. He chose a picture where his hair was really short, you know the coach look. The stylist looked at the picture and gave it back to Aikman and looked like he understood what he was wanting. Well, it was a little different than what he expected. After the stylist finished fixing his hair Aikman looked in the mirror...he was of course shocked. His first reaction was to fix his hair as soon as he left the salon, but he said Mary Lou has got to see this. He walked down our street where he ran into some of our friends, he hurried past not wishing to stop and chat. When I opened the door all I could do was laugh. Now I know that's not the best thing to do when it comes to encouraging your husband, but I just couldn't help myself. Know that his hair looks great after a quick trim in the front and him fixing it his own way. Just know that this picture can't even begin to capture how it really looked. What a great sport!!

Yes, we are living very far south. First, I do have to admit that I am not very tough when it comes to cold weather, my family and friends can testify to that. But here the concrete walls just seem to soak up any heat that is inside. Before our heater was fixed we preferred to be outside. I am so thankful for my warm blankets from Rach and Shannie (they are so special). JP does this remind you of a football game a few years ago??

This was a hot pot experience with our co-workers and teachers. For those of you who haven't tried it... you should know this is the BEFORE picture. Next time we will try and take a BEFORE and AFTER picture. Not a pretty sight...You just turn red all over and your nose and eyes water, its a good remedy for the sinuses.

Some dear friends!

What a great teacher!! Aikman has been missing teaching so we were very excited to go visit a class of youngsters who are learning English. We reviewed and then played lots of games because...

they were not completely understanding what we were saying. They were so smart and so much fun!!
