We have been on the road the last few weeks...here is a summary of our journeys. One of our dreams has been to visit the Great Wall...we finally made it. For me, to be in a place with such history was absolutely remarkable. Here we are gazing into each others eyes...Oh, so romantic. We are so thankful to the Father for allowing us to live such a life full of joy and purpose these past 7 years. Here we are making a little climb...

Another very interesting spot.
The Forbidden City is such a massive area. We spent several hours roaming this place and listening to the fascinating history.

We have also managed to eat some good food during our travels. Here is Chris eating the famous Peking Duck. We have also enjoyed some terrific Mexican, Outback, TGIF, Chinese (of course), Mongolian, and Italian...pretty sure we have gained several kilos.
Yes, I am a tree hugger! I just get so excited when I see fields of grass, lakes and BIG trees. So thankful for our Creator's gifts of creation.

This sweet couple has been married about 6 months and have just opened up a small ice cream shop. It was so fun getting to know them a bit and of course enjoying some yummy ice cream.
You are looking at a picture of the most famous lake in China. After walking around the beautiful lake we were able to sit and sip on a Starbucks Frapachino...that was a real nice treat.

During our visit to a village we saw this granddad selling his veggies at a market.
Thought this couple was so precious...this picture reminded me of the famous picture of the farmer and wife photo, is it just me??

A picture of some dear friends from our city.
Enjoying HK on Mother's Day...we were really missing our wonderful Mother's on this day.

Look at that muscle man standing in front of the Olympic mascots, the Friendlies.

This woman meant a lot to Chris and I as well as my parents during their visit. We were able to see them the day we left our city.
Here are some of our oldest and dearest friends...they are from our workout place...Oh, so thankful for that place and the special friends we have made.
