Finally!!

We are back from Ethiopia and adjusting (most days:) to being a family of four. This is my first time to be online since being home hence the lack of updates and pictures. The Lord has graciously provided for our needs and we are thankful to be close to family and friends during this season of life. Here are a few pictures from the past 2 weeks. This is not the update I have been planning on doing but for now here is a taste!! This is pretty much what Nehemiah does all day!!

Our sweet Ezekiel enjoying his first experience at our favorite restaurant-Joe T's!!

The boys first time in the stroller. They seem to really enjoy the quality time, even in the TX heat.
"GOTCHA DAY"
It didn't go exactly as planned but still it was quite a remarkable day. Chris was on a later flight and was set to arrive just about the time we were to meet the boys, but then it was delayed several hours. My parents and I were going to meet him at our agency office, do some paperwork and then the boys were supposed to be brought to us. Well, we arrived at the office and as soon as I stepped out of the van...there was Ezekiel...and then Nehemiah! It was overwhelming to finally see them but then I was so conflicted as I just kept thinking that Chris wasn't there with me. We were all so shocked we didn't have the camera ready so that's frustrating but when Chris arrived we reenacted and have that on video and camera. YEA!!

I loved seeing Chris face as he first saw and held the boys for the first time.

After our Embassy appointment...thankful they were now ready to head to the US

Thank you all for your notes and prayers these past few weeks...months...years. Our hearts are overwhelmed and thankful to our heavenly Father for your love and support. Look forward to catching up with all of you very soon. We are so thankful to the Lord for these precious gifts...His love is great. More to come soon about these bundles of joy!
love,
CAEN

This is the BEST post in the history of blogging!!!!! I'm SURE you have made a quick transition into life as a mommy- tired, exhausted, sleepless YET overflowing joy, praise pouring off your lips and MOST of all a deeper understanding of our Father than ever before in your life. GLORIOUS!!!! Can't wait to hug your neck and have a big boy party :-). Soak in every moment sister, treasure each in the deep parts of your heart because what "they" say is all too true- we blink and they are 5 or 15 or 30 (yikes which means we will be like....ummmm 60???)!!!!!! YEA YEA YEA God!!!! Lord Jesus, THANK YOU!!!! There is NO OTHER!!!! We praise YOU ALONE!!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I love seeing this!!! God is SOOOO good!!!! Wow, those boys look absolutely PERFECT with you two. They are gorgeous and together you all make a ridiculously good looking family!!! :) I will continue praying for you guys as you adjust to two babies. Going from just the two of you to being Mommy and Daddy is the biggest change ever. You can try to prepare, but there's just no way to plan for it all. God is just so awesome. I can't believe he gives us such wonderful gifts like children. It's truly a picture of his love for us and a testimony of how he is gracious and gives us such amazing gifts that we could never dream of deserving. Congratulations! We've got to meet!
When are their birthdays again? I think Ezekiel and Isaac are only a couple months apart.
Can't wait for more pictures. Again, thank you for sharing them with us and praise be to God who creates families!
