Oh, how we love AMERICA. We sure have missed enjoying this special time in our homeland. We pray that it was a special day for you all. May God Bless America.

It is our 4 year anniversary today. We are so thankful to the Lord...what a wonderful journey!
Since Aikman can't get out and I have been sick this week we decided to order in for our anniversary. We have had plenty of local food so we decided to go with some home cooking...McDonald's. Within 20 minutes this young man delivered. I tried to give him a tip and in English he said, " this is China not America." First we were astonished that he could speak English but also at his hilarious comment. It was a good laugh. Aikman ordered the food all in Chinese...how impressive.

HAPPY 25 th ANNIVERSARY DAD AND MOM LOWE! You both are such a joy and a constant blessing from the Father. We hope you had a splendid time at the beach. We love and miss you so much!!! What a lovely couple!
This is one of our neighbors that we had never met before this night. He is a doctor. He brought over a "special remedy" to help Aikman's knee heal. Our friends who are experts in Chinese said that it was a type of preserved snake alcohol. I might have misunderstood and forgotten, but it was something like that. This little girl had seen Aikman walking around our apartment complex and told her father that he was sick, so he came to help. We are so thankful for this sweet family and their kindness. They are example to us in so many ways.

One of our friends asked us to be in this very large performance to celebrate a special event for our country. Unfortunately, Aikman was not able to because of his recent surgery and having to use crutches. He recommended our friends to be a part of this special event. I was able to be in attendance. It was a lot of fun and there were some wonderful performances. It was great to see so many people having a good time.

Our little sweetheart is a constant reminder to us that time here is passing quickly. She's is getting so big...and will soon be a big sister. We are so excited!!!

Thanks Japes and Rach for the care package. Aikman really loves sport'n the Cards championship ring. He's got some bling bling...just waiting for that new ride. That would be a new bicycle!!

Resourcefulness or Tacky, not quite sure. Our friends brought us flowers and I didn't have a vase so I resorted to emptying the Pringle's can. My next purchase will most likely be a vase.
Well, another group of friends brought a huge bouquet of flowers, but it was making a huge mess in the house because of all the greenery they add, so after a few days I cut these beautiful flowers and put them on our table. They sure have brightened my week. Gerber daises were our flowers for our wedding. What a sweet gift of our friends, they had no idea but we took it as a blessing from the Father.

Our first Chinese wedding. We are friends of the beautiful bride. We were so honored to be invited, it was quite a shin dig.

Around town...our friend, who is the boss at our workout place used to own several places like this around town. They are quite popular in our city, we have actually never eaten at one of these fine establishments. Sure it is quite tasty.

Here is one of my new favorite places to visit. Before I had usually gone to the large supermarket in town to buy our veggies and fruits. But as of late, I have been going to the Caishichang. It is a place to buy fruits, vegetable, all kinds meats, even live chickens and fishies and much more. One day as I went to the market after working out, a storm came through. After I finished my shopping, hoping to quickly return home I could tell the storm wasn't passing by. Pretty soon this sweet woman came and offered me a seat in her booth. I had been asking for times to get to know these wonderful ladies...and He answered in a very creative way. I had an enjoyable time talking with this young woman. She was so wonderful to translate for me to the Grandmothers that only speak the local dialect. I am looking forward to more meaningful conversations.
