spring break

The boys giving their daddy some love after he returned from his trip.

Spring break was quite different this year than in years past. Previously in my mind, spring break meant the BEACH. This year, the beach was not involved but thankfully we were able to spend some quality time with family and a day trip to DC. Sadly, the boys and I were away from Chris, as he was teaching the word in another state.

Enjoying playing with their cousin (and her gator) and some spring weather

Our sweet and adorable niece

Our DC trip: I only got a few pictures of the boys due to a malfunction with my camera. SAD. So glad I did get a few pictures of our cuties.

We love Lincoln!!!
We also got to see some dear friends, who will soon have their first child. Yay!!! We just love getting to introduce our boys to our favorite people. They have so many aunts and uncles around the world.

The boys are changing so quickly. It's so hard to believe that they are now 21 months and 14 months! We rejoice in the Lord's goodness as we see their bond and love for each other continue to grow. I just love that the first thing Ezekiel usually says when he wakes up is "Bubba". They truly are best buddies...with this comes the hugs along with the occasional toy stealing :) Ezekiel enjoy playing his guitar, little people farm, blocks and sticks. Nehemiah enjoys his john deere tractor, his phone, stand up musical thing and gets really excited when he brushes his teeth. They both love story time, and at this time (apart from the Bible of course) their favorite is their "Night Night" book. Life is busy as they are both walking and running everywhere. They are such delights!!
The boys and I really enjoy being outside, it just makes our days much happier. The weather here has been very strange...is it really snowing here on the first day of spring? crazy!!
Note:Pictures taken a few weeks back, not today.

TOO cute! I can't believe your boys are so big!!
And just as a word of warning combined with a word of encouragement... 22 months was the most frustrating month with Isaac...he couldn't really talk then so got frustrated easily and often! But then within like a week he started saying complete sentences. And the encouragement comes in saying that since he's turned 2 he's been a near angel! We're gonna start potty training next week, so that might end, but the terrible two's have been anything but that!!!
Keep the pictures coming! love you sweet friend!

Yes..having boys outside DOES make all the difference! If only every day could be ideal fall-like weather :)
